Winter Drops In

Less than a day after a surprising maximum temperature of 17C (63F) this grotesque frozen substance graced the landscape.

    1. Thanks Maddie.

My tongue is mostly in my cheek. Snow can certainly paint a pretty picture, but it tends to make me grumpy.

    2. That is surprising. Your Winter work is amongst your most fun work. I think of you often when it snows...for if I remember, we found each others blogs in one of my worst snowstorms here.

Keep it up! Take that as you may.

    3. Dry, fluffy snow can kindle my playfulness, but these days snow is often accompanied by ice pellets, freezing rain and/or rain, and followed by a hard freeze. It's harder to clear and it's not much fun for play.

The cold gets to my bones (no pun intended) a little quicker too, especially if it's damp.
