Nice word play...looks like a nice cozy spot to enjoy some winter rays...and warm enough to open the window a tad!!! ...and a nice tad of you showing!!!
Old glass is truly amazing with its special character, both of its own appearance and the quality of the light its transmits! ...must admit, I totally missed the missing pane...the photographer placed an object - below and o the left - that absorbed my full attention!!!
So, a man in a window has somehow fashioned a vintage jug from a pane of glass, and here you are lookin' at his bare naked backside. I am completely shocked.
The imperfections in the glass make it very interesting too, the warps and dimples (in the glass).
Thank you Tomass!!! It’s a delight to check out your latest posts!!! Your “shock” reminds me of the great line in Casablanca:
Capt. Louis Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here! Emil the Croupier: Your winnings, sir. Capt. Louis Renault: Oh, thank you very much.
Hmmm... when the light catches a bit of fuzz on my window sill, I grab a cloth and get to dusting. Such a sight... the light catching motes aloft... dancing in the sun. Would your motes be in need of a bit of a dusting?

ReplyDeleteThe sunlight was warm, except for the draught where the pane is missing.
DeleteI like the way the barn windows photograph; there's a lot of character to the old glass.
Thank you for your compliment.

ReplyDeleteA teasing tickle is welcome, but a cloth might not get those motes off. I'd wager you know a secret or two for dealing with fuzz aloft.
DeleteThank you for your comment, uptonking.
