Purely out of a sense of duty, I would feel obligated - if I were passing by - to stop and enquire if warming action was desired...a bit of friction could prove most helpful to those delicate parts so sensitive to the cold!!!

DeleteFriction would be a welcome warming, and likely to become slippery with the thaw, but I have a notion your 'sense of duty' is anything but pure.
