Distractions

  1. I don't know what it is with this shot, but I really love this one. The tight jeans, the pose or is it the distraction? Wonderful!

    1. Thank you, Maddie. Your kind words are much appreciated.

We were finally treated to consecutive warm days. The forest inhaled the sunny breeze and breathed out green. Unfortunately, the flying pests also made their appearance, in great numbers.

The black flies, mosquitoes and a return to cool, showery weather, mean I'll likely be confined to my barn 'studio' for a bit. I immensely enjoy photographing out there, though, and I'm pleased you liked this picture from my last session.

  2. I have always found your studio work just as fascinating and satisfying as your wonderful outdoor works. Bugs?!? I swear, they are getting worse earlier every year. Just the other night I was sitting outside with a libation, and couldn't believe how bad mosquitos, gnats and mayflies were already. And no matter how much gin one drinks....pickled mind you, they still pest.

    1. I was hoping the harsh winter would set them back, but it was not to be. Maybe, if they get enough 'pickled' blood into them, they'll all fly into each other.
