How beautiful! And yes, I imagine they do match Gingers striking baby blues! I have these blooming here too, all through the lawn and at the woods edge. I like your floral photography......your softer side.
YEAH BABY!! Thanks so much for being the first guy to ever give me flowers. You'll forever be in my history book. I'm coming for my bunk now. I agree with the Mistress, you are a fantastic floral photographer, the colors are awesome and vivid, and as you know blue is my favorite color. I'm printing these pictures and attaching them to my mirror so they will start all my days with a big smile. You're the best!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Maddie.
DeleteThe colour is a shade violet, I think. I'll look for a bluer blue from the forget-me-not and wild-flag iris in the coming days.
Some of the patches of violets spill onto the trail through the meadow. I try to zigzag around them when I mow it.

ReplyDeleteI'm pleased you liked the photographs, Ginger Mickey, and thank you for your compliment.
DeleteI changed the second picture, to provide perspective of the violets' delicate little world.
