These pictures were taken on May 31, 2014. I ventured into the forest yesterday morning (accosted by a voracious cloud of black flies) and a couple of my present-day efforts are posted above.
It has been cool, especially at night, but getting milder over the last couple of days. The greening is finally under way, and with a summery weekend forecast, it should be jungly in no time.
