A bright fun shot. Waist deep I see. We are in the mist of getting a snow storm. Maybe I should go out them tomorrow and do some Tomass poses...exposed. That should get some looks from the neighbors.
We received a little snow from the same storm overnight. I don't think it will last long, though, as the temperature is forecast to reach 15C (60F) on Wednesday.
Never mind the neighbours; just make sure your squirrel friend doesn't get mixed up about which nuts you're offering.
Are you pruning? How very virtuous of you. It's chilly in San Francisco but spring is leaking in. All the cherries and plums are in bloom, which is some of my favorites, the delicate little clouds of pink against the bare branches. Very much like you.
One theme I endeavour to portray through my photographic adventures is that skin is simply and naturally skin and as such, I 'dress backwards.' I bare the skin usually covered, and cover the skin generally bared.
A rosy cheek teased by the kiss of a smile, a dangling scrotum warmed by spring sunlight, a shoulder muscled toward a tender hug; all simply and unequivocally natural.
The vilification, the anguish and fear, the mental detritus attached to certain skin is not natural.
'Tomass' is my alter ego, the 'trail guide' captured in my photographs. I haven't met any men interested in wilderness photography treks in rural Canada, hence 'Tomass.' My name is Craig; just thought I'd let you know.
I for one, would love to go on a wilderness photography trek with you...always ready, willing and able to manage to your equipment, and I'll even carry your camera accessories.
Very interesting, thank you for explaining your theme. Dress backwards, very original. Actually that is very reverse to most rural Canadian men, I never say another nude man until I moved to the city. Growing up men would remove their shirt but that's as far as they went. Even now I find men in bare feet erotic, not because I am into feet but because growing up in my rural area, guys always wore boots, people would think something was wrong with you if you walked around in bare feet or worse, sandals, sounds strange but it's true. I love the masculine feel to your photos. I also hope my teasing didn't offend you? That would be upsetting for me as I enjoy this site, my all time favorite is your header, what a fun photo.
I appreciate your interest and thank you for your compliment.
I was naked a lot. In the dappled summer woods, filled with wonderment by the sights and sounds, the breeze rich with scent and warmth and tickles, being bare to it all was pure and joyful freedom. And it was on the west coast, with fewer mosquitoes and no black flies.

ReplyDeleteA warming poet you are, mrpeenee.
DeleteI'm fond of the bloom of the fruit trees as well, although it doesn't usually occur until the end of May or so here.
If I'm going to be virtuous, better the garden than the bunkhouse.
Tomass, you know I think that you are just like all the young guys I see in the city these days, pants down with your bum sticking out!
ReplyDeleteAnyway... I'm sure not complaining! ;)

ReplyDeleteHow am I going to photograph your sultry sprawl in the bog moss if you're managing my equipment?
