Spring is often slow to come here, but this year it really dragged its heels. It has awakened, at last. I don't think I've ever seen such a sudden greening.
I spend a lot of time in the forest, my favourite place to be. The fresh air you mentioned is rich with scents, the birds are singing with a little more confidence, the flora has shaken off the tardy spring.
Thanks for letting me know you like the picture. It's at a place on the trail called Balsam Narrows.
...beautiful image..your upright posture so wonderfully compliments the verticality of the forest beyond....and that sweet ass!!! ...not sure why I haven’t remarked about this previously but your characteristic red plaid shirt being a complimentary color to the green forest really makes the image come alive....I think it’s because I have just been appreciating how the deep blue sky against the orange and gold hills does the same for my desert images....
My mack is heavy enough for most weather, provided I wear the appropriate layers underneath, and rugged enough to withstand sharp branches and abrasive boulders. I like the splash of colour it adds to a snowy scene and find, somewhat to my surprise, that it works well without snow as well.
It doesn't blend with the shadows like my mosquito netting, but it somehow fits in the woods. I'm pleased that you mentioned it.
And it looks fine from this view also. I like the sun on you for a change, and that perfect butt.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maddie.

Glad you got out and got a little fresh air. Seems spring is in the air and maybe a little in your pants? Beautiful photo.
