What a beautiful pine bed!!! Love your welcoming pose with just a touch of cold snow on the background. Christmas card worthy I say.
Thank you, Maddie. The pine needles enticed, having dispatched of the snow and warmed in the sunlight. They're surprisingly comfortable (flat to the ground).
When I was a lad, my parents used to have a huge pine tree. I would often lay in the needles and read. It was like a fort, with all the low laying branches. On a current note...it was 69 degrees today.
You're right; it is like a 'fort' or a nest under the sweeping branches and makes a great escape.I'd appreciate if you sent a few of your degrees this way. We're hovering around zero with freezing rain in the forecast.
REALLY, really nice, Tomass.
Thank you, Jeffrey. The sun sneaks under the limbs this time of year, and had the fallen needles looking tantalizingly toasty.
Coming to your blog is like visiting a wet dream.Don't wake me up !
It's great to read you enjoy your visits, Mark. Thank you for letting me know.
