I adore them so much. Sadly, this year at the prairie, we only have one monarch. Last year we had two. And the year before three. I love seeing the remaining one flit about. They are life themselves. Lovely photo. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Maddie.I was looking for a Great Spangled Fritillary (which I haven't seen this year) on the burdock and happened upon this visitor. It was a real treat.
