Beautiful!!!!! Now I know summer is here when you back reigning over the Fern Kingdom! My fern bed is all grown in already. Just last week three young fox emerged from them late at night.
The ferns aren't quite jungly yet, owing to cool weather, but they're pleasing to the eye.
I see a fox from time to time. A couple of days ago I saw a leveret on the trail; a bundle of brown fur with eyes and ears and spots similar to a fawn.
Thank you for your kindness, and your play on words.
One assumes there will be a sticky puddle...pine resin, of course - and perhaps a mysterious woodland trailblazer will contribute some protein-rich splatters to nourish those thirsty ferns.

ReplyDeleteI particularly love your scepter.

I love the scepter as well and the sphincter is worth bowing down to.
ReplyDeleteI think there's a royal assent in there somewhere.

ReplyDeletePerhaps, if he's frondly.
