How fortunate you are to experience the dramatic change in color this time of year. Out here on the California coast, we pale in comparison, but we do have the ocean year-round.
The colour is slow in coming this year, and not quite as vibrant as usual, as we haven't had a frost. Pretty though, and a pleasure to experience.The only downside is it bodes bare branches soon. I'm very fond of bare, but not bare branches.
