What a great picture! I was up on Fire Island twice this season, and I got some real close ups shots of deer. There are tons of deer there. It's quite something to see deer near or on the beach and near the ocean's edge.

I glanced over and there he was, watching me through the cherry bushes. We eyed each other for a few minutes and then he quietly disappeared into the forest.
