I like this shot. When I go up to the Woods, I try to get shots like this, but they never turn out this beautiful. I love the play of shadows on the path.
I really enjoy this part of the trail in the early summer when the sun catches the new growth on the firs; it rather warms my eyes and soothes my soul after a long winter.
It would be intresting to see one of your spots with you in it, for each season and see the seasonal change in each shot. Like I wonder have we seen this trail for example in the winter?

In many of my winter photographs, such as Sign of the Times, there's a trail somewhere under the fluff.
