  1. That's a beautiful shot! I'm glad this summer, I have seen many butterflies compared to last year, but I fear the pesticides they are using to wipe out the Lantern Fly that has invaded here, will harm them again.

      The butterflies favour the burdock and don't seem in any rush to move on once they've settled for a meal. They allow me to get quite close.

      I've seen a good variety this year, but not too many of any one species.
