It's 'Tomass' who is in peril here (and from an environmental perspective, the forest); should he escape his pursuer(s), he'd no doubt still have plenty of energy to play.

Most trail guides won't kiss and tell (but they are known to kiss and swell). One way or another, I think this is where being tight-lipped comes in.
