  1. ...and as with the red squirrel, this model seems pretty cooperative, too! Very nice image, so tastily offered!

    1. A little grumpy about the loitering snow, but otherwise amiable.

The thaw is well under way, though, and with the temperature forecast to reach the high teens (60's F) the trail should soon be bare.

      Thank you for your compliment.

    2. ....and more than just the trail, I think it's safe to say! :-)
Warming up here, but still snow in the Sierras....I'm hitting the local trails and enjoying!

    3. I'm glad you're enjoying some wilderness adventures and I imagine it's a relief to have a snowpack in the mountains for a change.

I was doing some spring maintenance on a couple of bare sections of trail today. The work didn't take long, as the paths are still mostly snow covered.

You're right though - with the thaw, and hibernation ending, I may soon be exploring the woods with a bear behind.

  2. A "fashion SPREAD" in the woods. Groan.

Hairy nuts to attract those Squirrels - or other "nibblers." As usual - it's your fault Tomass, you encourage these awful puns. LOL.
