I haven't seen many animals of late. I think (hope) they're snuggled in dens, waiting for the glacier that is covering the ground to melt. Thankfully, the squirrels and chickadees brave the elements, cheering the winter and smiling the dawdling chill.
The animals amaze me, enduring the winters without furnaces or wood stoves. Tiny creatures like chickadees braving bitter winds with naught but down, and seemingly, spirits up.

Winters are grueling for everyone in certain circumstances. But these images are amazing. Absolutely beautiful.
