The tree is in the garden. The flowers don't last long but the leaf colour ranges from green to burgundy, so the foliage stands out right through the summer.
They're pretty when they bloom and their fruit makes them fine bird feeders in the fall and winter. I enjoyed watching the grosbeaks feast on them last year.
Is that growing wild in the forest near you or did you plant it on your property? Really beautiful!

I too love the Crab Apples flowers, but like you said they are gone all too quick.
