I can't describe our mild stretch as 'balmy', but it's certainly better than frigid and has me contemplating, with great anticipation, the spring greening.
How is the drought situation? Have you received enough 'chilly rains' to make a difference?
What a,great shot. Very playful and we get to see the great ass of mounds. Look mighty cold on it. I would so love to follow you a day to see how all this happens. But I fear, I would only impead you, or not keep my hands to myself. Glad your enjoying the snow. Our four feet of snow is all melted again, and now back to almost 60 degrees this weekend. I'm confused.
The weather has, for the most part, been a real treat. We could still get a lot of snow, but much of the ground is bare at the moment, and that is a pleasure to see in February (and the birds seem thrilled as well).
Here in San Francisco, we're having our typical mid-winter balmy break in the weather before the next round of chilly rains slam in.
