Wildbush Trail Guides II

12 comments:

  1. Great heavens! A most eye-catching denizen of "The notorious Wildbush Bunkhouse" unforgettably "points out" the way. An opening to a "new adventure?" I understand there is a sign on the back door that says "Thanks for Coming."

Your cock looks like it's resting on a sheet of ice. Surely not!

    1. You've got to be a touch wary of places with a back door entrance, especially if a second sign reads Always Open.

It's not ice, but a rock containing reflective material (forgive my petrological shortcomings). The late afternoon sun warms the rock, especially in the autumn when the leaves have fallen, and I've often used it for a 'chair' in my photographs. It is a favourite spot.

Thank you for your comment (and puns).

  2. A revised version of my deleted comment:

"Is this what they call a 'Moonlight Cocktail?'"

    Groan.

    1. On the rocks, in this case. In the Wildbush Bunkhouse the 'Moonlight Cocktail' is also available served in the small of your trail guide's back.

  3. This walk will open more than my eyes!?! Is that a promise? And will I get one of those large walking sticks like pictured here to hold onto?

    1. The Wildbush Phallic Walking Stick has always been a popular item. It has many special features, including a hollowed out head for your favourite beverage.

    3. It doesn't appear too much walking is going to get done on this tour.

    4. Not much walking. But where lies the problem?

    5. There's no problem... as long as one can walk afterwards.

  4. Are the prices reasonable?
