By the look of her belly and teats, she may have been in touch with a couple.
Aww...she's pregnant! That's so cool. You might get to see little baby squirrels!! Hope you can photograph them.
I don't know where her nest is (I did hear the pitter-patter of feet in the attic a while back) and by the time they're out frolicking in the woods, they're fairly big. If I happen upon them, I'll try to get a picture.
Nice to see a red squirrel - my dog "loves" the grey ones!
The squirrels have had some pretty good battles with the crows, but I imagine your dog would be another story.
