The chickadees have been happy at the peanut feeder, at least when the blue jays and squirrel aren't around.
When I'm in the woods the chickadees sometimes perch on a branch very close to me, and I'm sure they're saying, 'The feeder is empty. Stop taking pictures of your ass and fill the damn feeder.'
Ha! I love it! Chickadees have returned. I love watching them with all the others at the tough. So small!!!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Pete.
Deletethe squirrels got to my peanut feeder and then we found a better one for the small birds. depends on the size of your chickadees - none in the UK!
ReplyDeleteThe squirrel 'proof' feeder serves the chickadees well, mostly thwarts the squirrels and provides entertainment watching them fall off.
DeleteI appreciate and welcome your captivating portraits of birds, flora and fauna. Beauty is everywhere.
