I was careful not to appear I was encroaching upon his territory, not having antlers and all - but I'm certain he was aware of my maleness. He seemed curious and, though I'm likely anthropomorphizing, somewhat playful.
I'm not so sure about the anthropomorphism in this case. If you were emitting any type of pheromone, he could very well have sensed it. We're animals too. And, well....just maybe he's 'that way'. ;-)

ReplyDeleteAnyway, it was exciting to see him just 3 or 4 metres away, but I hope he's found a good place to hide until the end of November.
Yes....shame for such a beauty to be done in by hunters. Shouldn't be allowed.
